Note to convention center: spend $, run spellcheck

The Indy received an e-mail from a reader who reportedly shot a photo of a sign outside the elevator at the new $221 million Raleigh Convention Center, noting that all such signs contain this mistake. Maybe the letter “g” would have put the project over budget. Or perhaps droppin’ the g is merely reflective of a regional dialect.

Wow, that’s a big fail.

Remember a few years ago when the city of Durham ordered signs to commemorate Parrish Street and something on one of them was spelled wrong?
